Providence Day School freshman cheerleader Sofia Rinaldiissue258SRinaldi9gradePDS
has been named the Carefree Boat Club Rising Star of the
Week. The 14 year old daughter of Mariangela and Michael
Rinaldi started cheering in the seventh grade and has worked
hard to become the very best cheerleader she can be ever
since. Sofia enjoys developing new skills to help add to the
Chargers performances at football games and other events.

“I really love flying, especially because my stunt group is so
strong, so we can do really cool stunts. I have complete trust
in them. My favorite part is probably at games when we do
baskets, especially when we do it with this cheer called “Four
More More” that all the students yell back at us. I get thrown so high up, it feels like
I’m flying. Putting together and performing the pep rally routine was also really exciting
because we got to show off our coolest skills in front of the entire school.”

Inside the classroom Sofia is a straight A Student and works hard to find challengingcfbclknlkw_logo
classes. She also is active in community service through blood drives and the
Novant Health Volunteering Club. Sofia is in her seventh year of Girl Scouts and has
completed the highest awards for her age group. She is set to begin work on a 100
hour project to earn her Gold Award.

Congratulations to Sofia Rinaldi for being named the Carefree Boat Club Rising Star
of the Week.
