Marvin Ridge High School junior football player Chaseissue257fiedor
Fiedor has been named the Carefree Boat Club Rising
Star of the Week. The 17 year old son of Kent and Janet
Fiedor plays offensive guard and defensive tackle for the
undefeated Mavericks. Chase has been in the starting
lineup for the team since the ninth grade and he is most
proud of never missing a snap due to fatigue or injury.

Chase is working hard to earn the chance to play college
football following high school graduation.

The Mavericks are primed for a deep run in the playoffscfbclknlkw_logo
this year.

“This will be the second time that I have been involved in
the playoffs and they are always a great experience. It’s
always exciting to play, because you know the stakes are
a lot higher. The experience is also extremely rewarding, especially if you make it to
the championship which has been a goal of our team since the start of the season.”

Inside the classroom, Chase carries a 4.2 grade point average and has earned an
academic letter every semester of high school. He is also active with Paws In the
Panhandle, an animal shelter. He was inspired to begin to help the shelter and find
new homes for dogs after adopting one of his own.

Congratulations to Chase Fiedor for being named the Carefree Boat Club Rising Star of the Week.
