Alex Weisker has been named the winner
of the Shoeless Enterprises Leadership Award.
The son of Brian and Pam Weisker participates
in wrestling and baseball for the Cougars. Alex
wrestles in the 170 pound class and plays catcher
on the baseball team. Alex has overcome two
serious knee injuries while in high school to
continue participating in his favorite sports.

With his senior year now directly in line, Alex is
healthy and ready for what should be a strong
senior year in athletics and academics. Alex is a
strong student who regularly finds himself on the
Charlotte Catholic Honor Roll. He is also a member
of the Spanish Honor Society and a member of the
Rosary and Divine Mercy Club. Alex has also served
as Freshman Class President and Sophomore and
Junior Class Treasurer.

Alex has his sights set on attending the United States
Naval Academy upon graduating high school.

“I have wanted to attend the United States Naval
Academy since I was a little kid. My father was a
class of 94 graduate and looking up to him made
me really want to attend. I was accepted and just
attended the Naval Academy Summer Seminar
where it was a week long camp that endure physical,
mental, and leadership training. Also if I get accepted
into the Academy, I would like to become a Marine
Corps Officer and I wish to study Cyber Operations.”
