Ardrey Kell High School rising senior Sam Edwards has been namedissue252edwards
the Queen City Audio, Video and Appliances Community Heroes
Award Winner. The 17 year old son of Bruce and Emily Edwards is
working hard this summer to prepare for his senior year of academics
and baseball. With a 4.8 grade point average and a strong work ethic,
Sam is preparing himself well for the future. His commitment to taking
Honors and Advanced Placement courses will serve him well as he
continues his education

This summer, Sam is traveling across the Southeast with the South
Charlotte Panthers Baseball organization. Sam, a catcher, is striving to
attract the attention of college baseball coaches at each tournament.
With his athletic and academic resume, he hopes to find the perfect
school to continue playing baseball for. To be in the best shape possible,
Sam completes a Crossfit workout five-six days a week to develop
strength and conditioning.

Away from the baseball field and classroom, Sam participates with
Leadership University, a faith based organization that mentors younger
student-athletes through sports camps and other activities. He strives
hard to use all of his past experiences to become a better leader.

Queen City Audio, Video and Appliances salutes Sam Edwards for his
continued commitment serving others in our community.
