Tutoring Club Presents the Prep Spotlight with Anna Lichtenberger
Lichtenberger has been named the inaugural
winner of the Prep Spotlight Athlete of the week,
presented by Tutoring Club. The 18 year old
daughter of Vince and Victoria Lichtenberger
began playing soccer at age five and the rest is
history. She has enjoyed a prep career filled with
success on top of a major injury.
Anna has worked extremely hard over the last
year to return to the field from a significant
leg injury. She hyperextended her leg during
a soccer game fracturing the tibia plateau and
tearing her MCL, PCL, and meniscus. Anna had to
have surgery to repair the fracture and the torn
ligaments. Around two months after surgery, she
had to go to physical therapy and did that for six
months until soccer season started.
The return to the field has brought great happiness to Anna as she loves being
around and competing with her teammates. Anna is looking forward to the last
half of her senior season before graduating and moving forward in her life.
Anna is a high level student with a strong 4.3 grade point average. She is currently
deciding on where to attend college and has narrowed her choices to Auburn,
Furman, Virginia Tech, and NC State.
Congratulations to Anna Lichtenberger for being named the inaugural winner of the
Prep Spotlight Athlete of the week, presented by Tutoring Club.
