Cuthbertson High School baseball player Ryan Johnson has been named the Karsey Glass Breakout Star
of the Week. The son of Reginald and Anyiesa Johnson is a first baseman and outfielder for the Cavaliers.
Even with all his success, he still vividly remembers the day he hit his first home run and it remains his favorite
sports memory.

Ryan has worked hard and has earned the chance to play college baseball next year at the University of
Findlay in Findlay, OH. Before heading north, Ryan hopes to help the Cavaliers win a state championship this
spring. Ryan believes the team has all the parts in place to close out the year on top.
Inside the classroom, Ryan is an excellent student with a 3.9 grade point
average. He is a member of the French Club and also a member of the
Superintendent’s Advisory Council. Ryan also serves as a weekly volunteer
at his church.

Congratulations Ryan Johnson on being named the Karsey Glass
Breakout Star of the Week.
