Providence High School sophomore volleyball player,issue235peck
Carly Peck, has been named the Carefree Boats Rising Star
of the Week. The daughter of Michael and Rachel Peck
began playing volleyball just five years ago in Florida when
she wanted to try a new sport. Since that day, she has been
on the fast track for success, now playing a key role for
the Providence High School Panthers.


Carly is an Outside and Right Side Hitter. She enjoys the positions,


“I have to get points by attacking from both pins, blocking at the net,
and passing. I also try to help keep the team energized on the court.”


Carly hopes to help lead the Panthers to a conference and a state championship
while at Providence. In addition to school play, Carly plays volleyball
in the Carolina Juniors program here in Charlotte.


Inside the classroom, Carly is a 4.06 student and strives to maintain thatcfbclknlkw_logo
successful grade point average. Congratulations to Carly Peck for being
