The Charlotte Latin JV Girls Soccer Team has been chosen as the Carefree
Boat Rising Star of the Week Award winner. The Hawks won the CISAA Conference
Tournament on Thursday, May 5th at Charlotte Christian. The Hawks
entered the tournament as the #1 seed with a 8-1-3 overall and 6-1-2 conference
record. In the semi-final game, Latin knocked out Charlotte Christian on
their home turf 2-0. The Hawk goals were scored by freshmen Emma Trollinger
and Molly Kennelly and the shutout was shared by sophomore goal keepers
Lindsay Robelen and Eliza Cotchett.


Latin shutout Covenant Day in the finals to take the CISAA Conference Tournament
title. Emma Trollinger came up big for the Hawks with two goals and Anna
Calloway knocked in a goal to give the Hawks the decisive championship win.
Sarah Neely and Lindsay Robelen were perfect in goal.


This is the first JV Girls’ Soccer Conference Tournament Championship for
Charlotte Latin. Congratulations to the Hawks JV team for being named the
Carefree Boats Rising Star of Award winners.
