Written by Lane McCree, Charlotte Catholic
Junior at Cuthbertson High School, Josh Geiger, has been
named Architech Sports and Physical Therapy Student-Athlete
of the Week. The 16 year old son of Scott and Kim Geiger
plays offensive lineman for the Cavaliers. Josh serves as an
excellent role model for his teammates, taking initiative and
demonstrating leadership both on and off the field.
As a sophomore, Josh was a part of the varsity team that competed
in the State Semi-Finals. He hopes to use this experience
to encourage and challenge his new teammates to step
up to the previous achievements of last year’s team. His goals
for the season include not allowing any sacks and winning the
state championship.
Inside the classroom, Josh maintains a 4.7 GPA. He achieved the Academic
Excellence Award each semester of his sophomore year, in addition to being
awarded the Order of the Chevalier. Josh’s favorite course is history, and he
hopes to study forensic science or criminal justice in college. Congratulations
to Josh Geiger for being named the Architech Sports and Physical Therapy
Student-Athlete of the Week.
