A senior at Charlotte Catholic High School, Caroline Anderson, has been named the Mecklenburg Area Catholic
Schools / Arbor Construction Group Good Sport of the Month. The 17 year old daughter of Tom and Jean Anderson plays
forward for the varsity field hockey team. As a captain of the team, Caroline enjoys leading the other girls in practice and
before games. She also hopes to lead the team back into the conference championship. Last year, the field hockey team
placed second in the state championship. In addition to a conference title, Caroline hopes to achieve her goal of scoring
in the upper left corner of the goal.
Off the field, Caroline volunteers with A Child’s Place, an organization that works to reduce the impact of homelessness on children in Charlotte. The senior cougar has helped this organization with swim lessons for the past five summers. Inside the classroom, Caroline has attained a 4.31 GPA in AP and Honors classes. She is also a National Merit Scholar Semi-Finalist, and a recipient of AP Scholar Award, High Honor Roll, and the Cougar Award. Caroline’s favorite class is English, and she hopes to study International Relations in college. Congratulations to Caroline Anderson for being named the Mecklenburg Area Catholic
Schools / Arbor Construction Group Good Sport of the Month.
