What’s happening in Cross Country this fall?
“Mitchell Resor at Weddington has been dominant.  The Providence girls are running well as always.  Haywood Ferguson is doing well for a tenth grader over at South Meck.”
Can anyone locally win a state football championship this year?logo1
“Love the chance Charlotte Catholic will have.  Best defense in years over there, could go undefeated in regular season and enter with a # 1 seed. Playing home playoff games in the environment is huge.    Charlotte Christian is my pick again to win state title in NCISAA.  Jason Estep is such a solid coach for Knights.  I think a couple of other teams could make runs, but not win a state title.  Weddington comes to mind there, but, they will need a real good seeding spot to make a run.”
Who has the best set of fans in the area?
I think a lot of student sections are worthy of the title, Providence usually has a good turnout.  Some schools go big on one night and then return with only half the amount the next week.  Need to be consistent.  Catholic games are almost always packed with folks of all ages.”
What about Volleyball this year?
“Usual suspects, Providence, Covenant Day, others at times fight hard.  Ton of great individual players, team race I think may still be up in the air, playoffs start in the next two weeks.  Home court advantage is big if you have students that will come out and get crazy.”
Who is the best volleyball player in the area?
“One spot to look at is Covenant Day and their junior Hannah Billiard.  She is already committed to Virginia.  Tall and athletic player.  Many other top players in the area?
