The 2nd Annual South Charlotte Sports Report Middle School Basketball Showcase was a rousing success this year. Seventy top-level middle school basketball players competed on December 22nd and 23rd at Community House Middle School. The girls and boys each had their own day to show their skills. In addition to playing two showcase games, each player participated in a one hour workout with Accelerate Basketball which included measuring their vertical jumps and scores with the 94Fifty Basketball Dribble Test. Weddington High School girls coach Ryun Cook spoke to the girls about finding success in high school.
