Elizabeth Singletary

Charlotte Catholic High School senior volleyball player Elizabeth Singletary has been named the Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools / Arbor Construction Group Good Sport of the Month. The daughter of Maggie and Dan Singletary has played volleyball since sixth grade and now serves in the libero position on the court, after playing setter and outside hitter earlier in her career. Elizabeth is one of the conference leaders in “digs.”

Elizabeth is hard at work this season in helping to lead the Cougars as a senior. She has given max effort in every match and been a strong teammate and communications leader for everyone on the Cougars squad.

Inside the classroom, Elizabeth carries a 4.2 grade point average and she is a member of the National Honor Society. She is an active member of the Teen Volunteer Board at the Ronald McDonald House. Elizabeth hopes to attend either The University of North Carolina, Wake Forest University, the University of South Carolina or the University of Georgia. She is interested in journalism, health care, and international business.
