Providence High School pitcher Shane Small recently signed a Letter of Intent to play baseball for East Carolina University. His teammate, outfielder Ryan Semeniuk signed with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, joining teammates Keith Mauney and David Mailman who committed to Wake Forest earlier. Semeniuk and Small also starred for the Providence High School basketball team this season.  The Panthers have been ranked for a majority of the year in the North Carolina High School Baseball Rankings.  The SOUTH CHARLOTTE SPORTS REPORT would like to wish all four of the Panthers good luck in their college careers.
