Sun Valley All-Everything quarterback Sam Howell won the fan vote Player of the Week Award for Week #1.  Sam threw and ran for 164 yards each way, passed for 5 touchdowns and ran for another 2 in the Spartans win.

 

Sam becomes eligible now for the Fan Vote Player of the Year Award.
