and Physical Therapy Student Athlete of the Week.
The 18 year old son of Brian and Tish Macuga played
football and baseball for the Cougars. This fall, he will
head to Butler University to continue his education
and football career. Brian plays both the offensive and
defensive lines.

Brian, an All-Conference performer has played a key
role in the success of the Cougars over the last few seasons.
His hard work and dedication to the game provided him
the opportunity to continue playing on the collegiate level
at Butler. Brian tells why he made the choice of Butler;
“The school as a whole package: academics, football,
and student experience. It was a school I wanted to go to,
playing football or not, but playing football there made it
the perfect choice.”

Inside the classroom Brian recorded a 3.66 grade point
average while enrolled in many honors classes. Her served
as President of the Disc Golf Club and was greatly involved
in Campus Ministry. He is an active member at St. Gabriel’s
Catholic Church, serving at weekly mass. Brian also volunteers
at the Men’s Shelter of Charlotte with my church. Congratulations
