The Shoeless Enterprises Leadership Award: Christian Heinzelman
Cuthbertson High School junior football player Christian Heinzelman has been named the winner of the
Shoeless Enterprises Leadership Award. The son of Patrick and Brenda Heinzelman is a running back for the Cavaliers.
Next season will be his fourth year on the varsity team. After moving to Charlotte in the eighth grade, Christian has
relied on his Texas football roots and dedication to success to find success on the gridiron.
“Sports have taught me a good work ethic, as well as how to work as a team to accomplish something bigger than yourself.”
Christian enjoys game days with his teammates. “It is exciting because of how hard you have worked and you finally get a
chance to show it on the field.”
Inside the classroom, Christian carries a 3.94 grade point average and hopes to move above 4.0 after the semester. He has
been on the A/B Honor Roll every semester of high school. Christian is also involved with the Joy Prom and has taken Hope for
Honduras Mission trips. Congratulations to Christian Heinzelman for being named the winner of the Shoeless Enterprises Leadership Award.
