Anna Fitzpatrick Named P Saylor Fence Good Sport of the Week
Charlotte Catholic senior cheerleader Anna Fitzpatrick has been named the winner of the
P. Saylor Fence Good Sport of the Week. The daughter of Liam and Gay Fitzpatrick began
cheering in the seventh grade and now looks to close out her Charlotte Catholic career on a high
note. Anna has enjoyed all the extra opportunities to cheer inside large college stadiums for
Catholic as they marched to state basketball and football titles last year. She is recognized as one
of the team leaders and was selected as a team captain.
Her favorite part of being a cheerleader? “I love cheering with the crowd! Being able to cheer in front of the student section
is awesome because everyone cheers back! The spirit is great!”
Inside the classroom, Anna earns “mostly A’s with a few B’s here and there.” She is also a member of the National Honor Society. Anna is also
active in community service. She has traveled to Peru to do work for a small town and really enjoyed the experience.
Congratulations to Anna Fitzpatrick for being named the P Saylor Fence Good Sport of the Week.
