South Charlotte Sports Report Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year
The South Charlotte area continues to produce some of the top cross country talent in the state. With some of the top high school coaches in the area an an inner drive from so many runners to succeed, our area is well-positioned to continue to produce top flight runners in the near future. While many runners received consideration for the title of Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year, one Providence Day School Student-Athlete claimed the title, barely edging his own Chargers teammate.
The South Charlotte Sports Report Cross Country Runner of the Year is Jack Paddison. Jack won the NCISAA 3A State Championship and the CISAA Conference Meet over our runner-up for runner of the year, Nick Linder. Both of these runners were neck and neck all season long and our panel landed on the side of Paddison based on his state championship.
