BECKY PORTER

Providence High School senior volleyball plaer Becky Porter has been named the Architech Sports and Physical Therapy Student-Athlete of the Week.  The 17 year old daughter of Charlie and Jenny Porter has committed to play volleyball at North Carolina State next season.  Until then, Becky, a setter,  is working hard to help the Panthers content for a conference and state championship.Becky was named to the All-Conference team last year and was selected to the  2014 Mizuno SPVB National Junior Classic All-Tournament Team.  She also was named the MVP  of the 2013 Hokie Super Regional tournament at Virginia Tech.  Becky is an extremely hard worker and uses her leadership skills to help her teams Inside the classroom, Becky has found great success earning a 4.67 grade point average.  She is also a member of the Key Club, Spanish Club, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society.  Congratulations to Becky Porter for being named the Architech Sports and Physical Therapy Student-Athlete of the Week.
